How to Log in for Staff

Starting October 2019, we are rolling out Office 365 Single Sign On to Engage. For staff coming before October, you can set-up Engage Office SSO by login using "Sign in with Office 365".You can come to our office to let us setup for you.

For staff after April 2020, you are automatically enable this feature, you don't have a username or password. Just click "Sign in with Office 365" and sign in like using your email account.

Portal Notice

Send Notice to Parents

Step 1. Click the "New" on your home page of My Notice

Step 2. Click Add Parent Recipients

Step 3. Click Filter By Pupil Forms

Step 4. Click Year Group, Form and House when necessary

Step 5. Click Search twice. Sometimes if you just click once, available parents will not change. Make sure Available Parents is changed.

Step 6. Click >>

Step 7. You will only see parents Name, so you need to tick "Show Pupils" checkbox. At this time, your pupils will show next to your parents name. Scroll down and make sure you have the right receipients again.

Step 8. Check how many recipients on your email list

Step 9. In any case, please click Save Draft. Double check you have the right person. We recommand after you save draft and check your receipients and your content. You will also save draft again. And check again. Then send.

If you have any attachments, please save draft first. Do Not directly send your notice, because it won't include attachments without you save draft first.

Marking Report

Enter Marks for Pupils

Make sure you have the right filter for Academic Year, Reporting Period, Year Group, Subject and Division.

Enter Marks and select Attainment Grade from dropdown list.

Leaved Pupils still in Marking Report

Why a leave pupils still in my marking reports?

The reason of leave pupils that are still in marking reports, because you have enter marks in this period (Mid-term and/or End-term). If in Chinese Class, there are no marks recorded for this pupil, pupil will not show in Class Marksheet. If in English Class, there are marks recorded, pupil will stay in that class even if he/she left school.

If the mark are not needed anymore, you can delete all grade and teacher comments in that subject(or all subject) and in that period. Then, it will disappear automatically in this period.

Report Comments

Subject or Marking Column is Missing

I have entered marks in my subject, but my subject is missing. I have entered marks in my subject, but one of the column such as 'Exam Grade' is missing.

This is because you have selected a filter that is not included all choices. Please make sure you have the right filter.

Attendance

Unable to Save Attendance

This is happening most likely because we have a course in English and it might change class based on pupils English Test. Pupils will move to different level(class) due to their performance.

If John in English-EAL from 2019/09/01 to 2019/11/20. After a test, he moved to English-Middle. All attendance before 2019/11/20 is mark by the pervious teacher in that class (English-EAL). English-Middle Class Teacher can't modify the attendance before 2019/11/20.
